Back on the Lake

August 6, 2018

July 29, 2018

I hadn’t been on the water for over a month and decided on a quick trip to Prior Lake.

Calm, clear water. Bright sunshine.  Beautiful day to be cruising the lake.  Not so good for fishing.

Water surface covered with chopped up weeds, which made it a challenge to work lures back to the boat without running afoul.

Caught four bass.  Two on a spinnerbait and two on jig worms.

It’s been nice sleeping in and catching up on stuff around the house.  Time to get back on a regular fishing schedule.
