Swinging Mice

September 17, 2017

September 17, 2017

Swung mice on the Rush this morning as I’ve been planning to do.  No takers.

Major Trico hatch though.  Looked like a snow storm when the spinners started to fall.

Caught four fish, the largest of which was about 14″-15″.  Nice solid fish.  First cast on a size 16 Adams.

Probably could have caught more on tiny black terrestrials in the skinny water if I hadn’t got so caught up in trying to match the hatch.  Lots of nice fish were moving.
