Eagle Creek – Something new!

August 24, 2015

Sunday, August 23, 2015

School is just around the corner and fall is in the air as evident by the cool temps and blustery winds from the Northwest.  With the kids off signing up for choir lessons I took the available hour and a half to make a few casts at Eagle Creek.

Once again, saw a fish.  Unfortunately, it spooked at the sound of my streamer hitting the water.  Had some other really good drifts and thought I should have been rewarded.  However, when the latest stream survey only estimates 100 fish per stream mile the odds of hooking up aren’t that great.

Saw something new today at Eagle Creek – another fisherman. First time.  Good to know that I’m not the only crazy one.
