Real Chili

October 11, 2012

One of the interesting things about staying in a hotel, at least for me anyway, is getting to watch hours and hours of the Food Network, which is a treat since I don’t have cable TV at home.  Inspired by the show $24 in 24 hours, I did a web search for cheap eats in Milwaukee, WI.  While there were a number of intriguing candidates, I decided on Real Chili.  Established in 1931, they have three locations, including the one in Downtown Milwaukee.  Heading there after my visit to the Sprecher Brewer, it is nothing fancy; just Real Chili, and highly recommended.  Diners have the options of mild, medium, hot, beans, no beans, and noodles.  I opted for the medium, with beans and no noodles, which proved to be the right choice on a cool and rainy evening.  I will let the photos speak for themselves.
